Unbelievably rude guy working behind the bar in their saloon. I will never go back to Mentasta Lodge again. Only giving one star because I can't give none. Very nice, for being around nothing for miles & miles. The owner is super friendly & his wife is an awesome cook. Accommodations are prefect for recharging/decompressing and the sights around the area are awe-inspiring. Super friendly service! New owner is a really nice guy. The place is brighter and more inviting than I've ever seen it, maybe it's his shining smile greeting everyone. Only place to get a cuppa coffee for many many miles on a weekend morning.
